In the third quarter of 2024, the iOS music and podcast app market in Saudi Arabia saw varied performance across the top five applications. Based on Sensor Tower data, we provide an overview of key trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these leading apps.

YouTube Music from Google demonstrated a dynamic quarter. Weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at around $69.8K in the last week of September. Downloads experienced a gradual decline, starting at 13.3K in early July and tapering off to just under 10K by the end of September. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the 1M mark throughout the quarter.

Anghami: Play Music & Podcasts maintained a consistent revenue stream, with a notable increase in the latter half of the quarter, reaching approximately $38.5K in the final week. Lastly, SoundCloud: Discover New Music showed resilience with revenue bouncing back to $2.6K in the final week of September, after a mid-quarter dip. Downloads started strong at 15.7K and ended at 10.7K, while active users maintained a robust presence, averaging around 1.3M throughout the quarter.
